Introduction

Many workplaces handle chemicals that may pose health and safety risks if not properly managed. Improper storage, handling, or exposure to hazardous chemicals can lead to serious health effects, environmental damage, and regulatory non-compliance.

This Chemical Hazard Management Training provides participants with practical knowledge on identifying chemical hazards and implementing effective control measures in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health (Use and Standards of Exposure of Chemicals Hazardous to Health) Regulations 2000.

Participants will learn how to interpret Safety Data Sheets (SDS), understand chemical labeling systems, and implement safe chemical handling and storage practices.
